She laughs, the sound clear and bright as a smile curls on her lips, pulling up the corners. Her brows bounce towards her hairline at his exaggerated please, but she quickly pulls herself back together. A mischievous light glints in her eyes, swirling through the green of her irises as she looks up at him. "I haven't. Should really change that." Would it be wrong to have sex in their house? Maybe. Is she considering it? Yeah, she really is. Whoops. Maeve gives his shoulder a little shove, rolling her eyes as he wiggles his brows, "You're awful." She huffs, trying and failing to hide her smile as she tears off another bite of the roll, nodding in response to his question. "It is. I was trying to make something that reminded me of Stormbreak." She's not sure if it worked, but she thinks she did a pretty good job.
"I usually am." Maeve hums, a smirk settling on her lips as she wrinkles her nose at him, "That's highly likely, I think." Not that it really matters. She's not touched any of her old vices either. No booze. Only the one joint that she didn't even finish thanks to Seren's influence. She's been behaving. Focusing on healing and getting better in all aspects. Her body, her mind, and her heart. She likes to think she's doing a pretty good job at it. His reaction to her admission draws her attention back to him and she blinks, "What? Is that weird or something?" It probably is. What kid hasn't played in the rain? Probably the ones who got tossed out in it when they cried too much. Before her mind can wander too much into her past, he draws her back out of her thoughts. Maeve huffs out something akin to a laugh, "Seriously? You're being serious right now?" His eyes said it all. He was being completely serious and there would be no room for arguing.
She's just about to take another bite of her roll when he's leaning down towards her, lifting her chin with the tips of his fingers. Her lashes flutter across cheekbones, lips parting slightly as his mouth covers hers in a sweet kiss. He tastes like her tea and his muffins and her stomach swoops like she just dove off a cliff. It doesn't last for more than a few breaths, but it's enough to steal hers. "What about when you can sleep? Do you like to cook then too or is not sleeping necessary for cooking to happen?" Maeve quips, eyes fluttering open once more as she turns her attention to her breakfast and not the butterflies that have taken up residence in her belly.
