It isn’t what she expects, but she takes it well enough for Varus who simply offers a small apologetic smile as he gathers his things and moves to walk with Wessex back out of the Ruins, away from his previous home that sat in pieces.
She launches into her pitch, though, and Varus nods along with her – humming in consideration. “That sounds good. Really good.” He compliments, pursing his lips a few seconds after, reaching up with his metal hand to rub at his jaw as if in consideration. “Split it up like the first war. Get the soldiers and the medics, separate out the soldiers based off their abilities.” His head tilts this way and that.
“People are going to have to make their choice sooner rather than later. I know nobody wants the war. I sure as fuck didn’t get a second from the last war into this one.” He huffs a sigh. “But it’s coming and we need to be prepared. So yeah, I’m going to fight. No sense in being unprepared and hoping.” He works his jaw for a second before he looks back at Wessex.
“Do you want me to do some digging and see who’s all willing?”
