He hates her with a sudden and violent passion, as Isla reaches for the boat. He hates her if only because she stretches out against the wood as he wants to, and though his mind can instinctively guess at what the boat would feel like against him, a terrible fury comes over him. Isla.. He has no teeth to clench together, but his mind supplies the feeling of that as well, as he watches her blot out the hull of the ship with the vastness of her body.
I think...there is a reason kraken are never seen together.. Sounding both hot and cold, Remi's mind rings with dissonance as his long limbs stutter in the water. Isla has taken his prey, and no part of this new form seems fond of sharing. He doesn't know if she hears him, far away and preoccupied as she is. Above, screams of terror fill the night as canons are loaded and shot; none come close to reaching the massive beast that tangles and twines itself along the ship, though.
