The aura of her surroundings suddenly shifts. As she turns up her chin in a small pause to look around, her eyes widen a fraction. The trees bend and sway to the pressure of the squalls. She can feel the world stirring around her, as if by some sudden force. There's a cadence to it, but Aurelia mistakes the drumbeats on the wind for an oncoming storm. She thinks that she should hurry up.
Her fingers graze through mud and water with more intention. Green eyes turn back to the surface and, to her relief, find that a glint shines out from beneath. Plunging her hands for it, she huffs out in a small triumph, "Gotcha!"
