As the young dragon twisted, paler blue scales around the joints of his body - armpits, jaw, throat and all other soft folds - became visible, and made it appear as though he was softly glowing.
Seren laughed quietly as she watched his antics, ready to dive in and lift him away if he seemed about to do something dangerous. "His egg came flying out of a geyser, when I visited Torchline. It broke when it landed, and I just couldn't leave him there all alone." Stepping closer, she eased herself down on the stones next to Juniper. "Is it your first time seeing a dragon?"
