Sam moves, and Pet shifts with him, smart enough to know it’s safest to stay behind the other man. Still, he does what he can to look intimidating, to pretend like it would be a bad idea to try and pass them, all sharp teeth and glinting blades and simmering tension.
Pet moves with Sam and unsheathes his mantis blades to be prepared if the Prince does try to slip pst them.
