And he’s content to melt into it, to melt into her and that brilliant mind of hers, even if he catches her off guard like a bastard sometimes. Truthfully, he does linger a fraction with the metal to his arm causing him to sink a bit more – content to watch as her golden hair becomes a beacon, as her curves become a ripple that he wishes to follow however far it goes. In fact, the glimmer of light is long forgotten in the assassin’s mind of following her instead, content to let her take the lead until they either find the dreamfish or don’t.
