Going through stalls, eating food, playing catch with Umbra and a gaggle of street urchins, when they tried to steal out of her pockets and discovered, to their immense chagrin, that the pretty girl carried nothing of value on her body.
Now, the flush rising on her cheeks was of mounting anger as recognition flared to life in her eyes. Rather than help; the hand that flashed out sought to catch the other woman's wrist, in a grip that was far from kind.
"Why did you do it?" The accusation was blurted without precursor, as if this was a conversation that had been ongoing for weeks.
