'He's probably exhausted.' Tobi agrees with a smile, letting her fingers roam through his dark hair that's already threatening to curl at the edges. Breathing deeply, Tobi unconsciously begins to memorize his smell as her eyes pour over his chubby cheeks and small pink lips.
"mmm?" Glancing up at Finn as if he were speaking another language or asking her about something entirely unrelated, it takes Tobi a moment to understand what he's saying. "Oh. Oh right." She hadn't thought of a name. Between taking care of Finn and trying to endure the last few weeks of her pregnancy, naming their son hadn't at all been on her list of things to prepare.
Biting her lip and gazing down at their son as if having failed him already, Tobi instantly brightens as she gazes almost shyly up at Finn. "When you were sick..I read to you about mountains in another world. There was one called Everest, that was the tallest. Do you remember?" He'd made fun of her for posing a Finn-like question about the importance of things being tall. "On that world, it was a great accomplishment to reach the top. It was hard work, and something only few accomplished.." Perhaps it was Tobi's upbringing that made her find Outlander words and places so fantastical, but she couldn't deny that the thought of an alien peak, summited by only those who truly wanted it badly enough, was inspiring.
