Tummy Rumblies

Emmett had loaded up the cart that morning with the best they had to offer...which in the Deepfrost wasn't much, but through his sisters magic and a lot of determination, they had managed to produce a few crops. He had some meat too, but not much; it didn't make much sense to kill the animals at this time of year, when food was scarce and they could make milk or wool. Everyone had been asleep, so he'd been kind and hauled the cart himself. That was the one advantage of his shift, though he still thought the endless teasing (the word 'ass' was a common one for him) wasn't really worth it. Trading was always good in Deepfrost. Folk had a lot of food to get and were willing to give a lot for it. Emmett was just about running out of things to put up on the stall by midday.
