The stars are different here, but no less calming to me. It feels like a safer way to honor her than by visiting a shrine and inviting her presence.” Idly she pats the space next to her, plenty for his broad shoulders even without having to crowd close. Keeping a respectable distance for their awkwardness to occupy in their place. “This is the highest you can get near the outskirts. There’s taller buildings near the heart of the city, but the surrounding lights can be distracting.” Though Halo would never be large enough a polluter to create true light pollution the lanterns and lit windows were a visual nuisance Hotaru didn’t care for.
