Only in the dark
of night
Sah eyed the dragon in front of him, taking in the blatantly protective and possessive stance. Although he wasn't completely sure for the dragon's reasons for the display, he had a decent guess. Sah gave calming the companion down a shot. He held a hand out, palm up as an offering, his other hand holding Lilly. "Umbra, right? I promise I have no intentions of hurting your bonded. Nor do I intend to steal her from you. You're her companion, there's not replacing you." He tried to explain based on his previous experience with his world's dragons.

Just in case he sent the dragon a playful grin. "And if I overstep somehow, feel free to bite me." He really hoped his  hand wasn't about to be bit.
