Swimming a bit further out now, but still close enough to chat, he lets out a chuckle and gazes up at him.

When I fought a monster at the Spire, and I... well, I died," because there's no easier way to say it, "she put me up in the sky as one of her stars. But I was very lucky, and she brought me back down again after a time to be her chosen." A roundabout way of saying he was also a demigod, he supposes. "It's... a lot." He laughs.
