While Ronin put on quite a show, with a dazzling array of light and power, Melita’s arrow left only a little sizzle. If she was disappointed though, the youth wasn’t going to let it show. Not when this was far more delight than she’d had in the past season. “Absolutely!” She hollered in return to the demigod, content to steer the cloud around if permitted. Everyone else seemed outfitted in their luck – amazing feats, really and truly. It was probably an awe-inspiring height for anyone watching.
So instead of galvanizing and utilizing another arrow, she followed suit on predecessors, whispering deep within her soul. “Spirits, heralds, anyone listening,” because quite frankly, Melita wasn’t picky at this point. “Can you lend us some of your power?” To destroy? To ruin? To ravage? To hunt and stalk and maim?
