Maybe all you need is someone to trust
Eyes narrow to barely there slits as he watches the foolish lemur approach. For a second he wonders if there are other large predators like himself here or if the soft soil is enough to keep heavier animals away. Then again, how many of them can scale trees? He shifts his weight, making sure each foot is planted solidly in the branches. A faltering step as he jumps can mean death, even for a cat. Another breath passes and the little lemur is finally in reach and he pounces, claws extended and mouth open. He's not entirely sure which action will kill the poor thing but he's hoping it's swift. For all his newfound predatory instinct, he is still an unfortunately compassionate man.
