From Attuned to Ascended to Ancient, Kiada Njovu-Reyes has been reborn several times throughout her short life, but her fighting spirit has never once been diminished. Sam was about to say yes, mad, as if it were obvious when his eyes immediately were drawn to where Remi's blanket slipped and with a cough, he pulled them back up. This was absolutely not the time for any of the thoughts that view could give him (though the sight of the scars on Remi's ribs was more than enough to deter him from that path anyway).
He shook his head to try and get Remi to stop moving but was shocked to hear Remi say he'd saved his life. Sam let his hand be taken, confusion shocking him into obedience for the moment.
"N...no, Remi, you m-must be remembering wrong." He said, moving to sit on the edge of the bed (making sure he was not sitting on Remi at all). "I...I c-collapsed your...magic...a-and choked you. I didn't s-save your life. I..." His voice changed to a horrified whisper. "I...ne-nearly killed you. I'm sorry. You w-would be c-completely justified to hate me."
