Aurelia’s fluffy tail-tip twists from right to left happily, relieved at Ray’s outstanding support for her Attunement to Safrin. No one else had quite… had this reaction to it. Well, Ronin had come pretty close. But something about this felt genuine and it made her heart beat a little steadier. Thank you, she says, the gratitude practically drenching her voice.
As for anything else new? It makes her hesitate for a moment, her ears lowering for a moment. Hmm… a lot’s new, actually, but.. Less talking! More hunting! Then she perks up, intent on setting them into motion. Once they start, more frogs pop up from the waterworks.
A leopard and a red panda chase after frogs in a rainbow-colored river. It’s a unique sight to behold, so it’s too bad no one’s here to witness it. Well, except them! Water splashes where their paws reach and, time and time again, fall short of their quarry. Eventually, however, Aurelia grows determined and impatient enough that she splashes after the slippery frog with no mind paid to grace or skill.
It makes a dart for it, long legs shooting out behind it, but Aurelia’s paws manage their capture. Her nose dives beneath the surface and, when it resurfaces, there’s a frog hanging limply from between her teeth.
She looks over towards her friend, giving her an encouraging little mental shout, You got it, Ray!
