The new tasks are given out and everyone spreads out to start working on their new jobs. Seren proceeds with her curtain hanging, startling quite a few individuals in the process, but it seems that Seren has a knack for hanging curtains. With the help of her gravity pulse, she is able to not only hang the curtains in the main area, but also in all of the other rooms. The starchild could have a go at interior design if she ever wanted to. "Everything looks great, Seren. You can help Rin with the rest of the sconces if you want or help Aurelia seal the footbridge." The Madame suggests, giving him a grin.
Thankfully the fence around the property doesn't need too much work. It didn't sustain nearly the same amount of damage as the building itself. Instead it just needs very minor mending. With the help of his group, Sunjata gets it taken care of in record time. A few boards need to be replaced, but that's easily done. All that's left is a fresh coat of paint and fixing the latch on the gate.
Hanging sconces is perhaps more challenging thanRin was likely expecting. Especially when the girl can't find the ladder at first, but Maeve is there to rescue her. Maeve brings over the ladder, smiling reassuringly at the younger girl, "Here. This will help." She says easily, helping the girl with her task and enabling her to finish it, on the first floor but there are plenty of other rooms that need light fixtures too.
Aurelia makes a plan and it works. Between examining the blueprints, consulting with more experienced builders, and overseeing the work, everything comes together beautifully. The planks are laid down, nice and neat, securely affixed to the structure that's already been built. It looks good, but needs to be sealed if it's going to stand up to the weather that will surely wear on it through the seasons.
