From being an Abandoned who had rarely left the Hollowed Grounds, to embracing the call of adventure, to dying and being reborn first as an Ascended and then as an Ancient, Maea has gone through quite the amount of changes in her life. One thing remains common, though, in her attempts to find out just where she belongs; she’s always had a craving for knowledge which has brought her to so many places and to meet so many people here in Caido. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for her!

It’s night already and Sunjata’s quite frankly, running late in his rush home. So he’s taken up the shift of the dragon, gliding through the starry sky, until he spies a gathering on the beach around a particularly curious item. Lowering himself to get a better look, he shifts into his bat form, scouting the chest in his curiosity but inevitably choosing to sit on Aurelia’s shoulders. It’s me. He informs her, reaching out with his beastmaster perk to try and compel some crabs to prod at the chest, seeing if there's anything living inside of it that might grow annoyed with being jostled.
Sunjata arrives in his bat form and lands on Aurelia’s shoulder and tries to compel some crabs to try and prod at the chest.

Oh it’s very curious of an item. And it doubles with the bonus of being nighttime which means that Varus doesn’t need to hide away from the scorching Longheat sun. So he arrives, arms folded, hanging near the back with calculating eyes on the chest, standing somewhere near Melita and Bartholomew. And he watches and waits to see if anything anyone does gets it open.
Varus stays back in the crowd and simply watches.

Noah ventured down to the beaches after working with Maeve. For never having used a bow before their time together, she ended up doing just fine. Noah was sure that she would need more practice, but an archer could be made out of her yet. with his own bow and quiver strapped around him, Noah walked along the beach. it was quiet, a place for him to gather his thoughts before he headed back to Halo.
Before him, however, something curious entered his field of vision. A chest? He looked around for a moment, eyebrows knitting together with the curiosity of it all. He did not advance any closer to the chest, however, he merely observed.

You are so very, very antsy. None of your various efforts will have any effect at all. The chest sits unmoved, uninterested in what you have done, or said, or thought.
A warm breeze dances along the moonlit beach, and just when you might be thinking to yourself that this is merely some chest with nothing at all interesting to offer, this happens:
Paper appears on the top of the chest. In looping gothic script, each sheet bears one simple instruction: entertain me.
Intrigue and mystery, they lay thick in the air when a stack of papers appears on the chest, daring to be written on. With excitement, she rushes forwards to grab a sheet.

It was a relief to know that they might not have to fight something. Very heavy emphasis on might. Maeve grabs a piece of paper and a quil, shifting over to the side to focus on writing her own submission before slipping it into the opening, folded neatly.
