They also fill an area with the most wonderfully thick strokes." He gestured towards a painting on the wall that had been lavishly daubed in heavy lines of oil paint.

Personally Bastien had found the idea of other worlds difficult to get his head around; he smiled to hear that for Cam it had fit into a childhood dream. "Interesting. And...do you like it here? In Caido? It is a horribly dangerous place with plenty of flaws, but...well, it's certainly more exciting than Venice."
