And while Frey was nice enough to me I suppose, the only times I’d ever spoken to them it had been about her.” Had it been because his questions had related to Phoebe the times he’d spoken with them? Sure, but that’s beside the point.
“They could’ve stopped the wedding at any time, considering how upset Phoebe was in the first place and how upset I was, but they didn’t.” He shrugs his broad shoulders, huffing a sigh and pulls his gaze away from her to look to the rest of the crowd.
