The Voice's reach was terrifyingly broad and took all sorts, despite impressions Gideon might have had about their will.

As for Amalia's revelation, all he could do was nod. "It is best to think of it this way. The person you knew has already died and the Voice is puppetting around their body. It is respectful and kind to end their torment as her pawns."
