Tucking her shoes into empty nothingness, in a gesture so everyday that it completely took the magic out of the miracle of a pocket dimension, the girl smiled at the other woman. Extending her hands and cooing a soft greeting to Jyoti, Seren tried but failed to mimic the starwhale song. She never had any knack for communicating with them, though it certainly never kept her from trying. Umbra meanwhile was making a complete fool of himself, arcing up on his hind legs to bump his head into Amalia's palm. He didn't have to reach far; the dragon was big, tall enough for navy blue shoulders to level with Seren's hip.
