Nikolai listened to Wessex's report with increasing interest. Clearly something drastic happened in the past at King's End. A champion, and possibly a place where she had met her end. An end possibly involving an acid river? Nikolai was sure that there was a legend hidden in what the General had found. But if such a legend had occurred, had once been known well enough for a statue to be made, what had changed? Why was the story of this King one that they'd never heard of? -Bridgett Devoue
The entire situation was bizarre and spoke of lost knowledge. Knowledge of history and culture that could be vital in the coming days. Nikolai's eyes narrowed in thought. "What if... these relics... They might not be weapons. What if instead, they're relics of the past related to major events? Events that we've lost knowledge of somehow? There might be a relic there at King's End, one connected to Tallulah King and her sacrifice." The young Ascended thought aloud, mind racing to the point that he forgot he was in a crowd.
