Emmett Daddy's supposed to put bread on the table Daddy's gone and your mama ain't able Emmett was pretty grumpy to be forced out to go get firewood just as he'd finished the animal chores for the day, but his parents were busy with...something or another and his siblings had all miraculously disappeared as soon as it was asked for. With Longnight coming, it wasn't the kind of task he could put off, so he headed out into the woods hoping to gather some quick and be back in time for dinner. As he walked into the forest he became aware of a ...noise. An odd sort of sound, as if someone where attacking a tree but not a lumberjack with an axe. His own axe trailed behind him in the dirt as he looked about for the source of the noise. Eventually he spotted a woman going absolutely crazy on a perfectly innocent tree, with....knives? That he assumed she must be holding in her fingers. It didn't seem a very efficient way to do things, yet she was successfully bringing down branches all around her. Emmett walked over to the bottom of the tree and looked up, waving with his axe. "Hey. You uh..alright up there? You could use my axe, if you wanna borrow it."
