She mimics his avian tones and Sunjata’s head cocks to the side, his feather’s splaying with the motion as he ruffles his wings a fraction as he stares at her. He clicks his beak a few times during her rant, mimicking a laugh that echoes against the vines before he’s pushing himself off the end of the bridge, flying back toward her only to turn around behind her and fly back to the end of the bridge where he turns back into himself, leaning against the post that signifies the end of the bridge.
“I am helping you.” He says, flatly, lifting his hand to inspect it as if he’s checking his nails. “If you don’t do it yourself how will you ever manage it again?” He lifts his head to peer back at her with a playful smirk. “You’re no princess that needs rescuing. It’s a bridge. Look, you’re already halfway across.” He gestures to it, before he crosses one boot over the other and leans back on both hands now.
“And also if you’re going to go that route, I wouldn’t be in that position. Or if I did, I’d get through it myself.” Because he was Korofian and when faced with issues like that which feared him, he practiced it over and over and over again until he was good at it, so nobody could use it against him again.
