Samuel
An open field that's framed with trees
We pick a spot and shoot the breeze
"Oh. It sounds...fun, I suppose." Sam gave a polite smile, though all he could think about was how much he would have hated that as a child; he'd been awful at speaking to anyone anyway - having to dress up and ask for candy? It sounded like a special kind of nightmare. "Yes...I mean, you see the trees shrivel up and go and all the animals that go to sleep...it's much quieter."
Deepfrost was actually his favourite season for just that reason. It felt like the world went a little slower, was a little gentler even with the chill in the air. That, and it impeded movement of those that weren't Ascended, so they were possibly actually safer.
He laughed at their surprise. "I've given away books for much less. My main concern is that people read around here. I don't need to pay for food or heating. Don't worry about it. Really. Pick something you'd like."

All we see is sky for forever
We let the world pass by for forever
