Seren's words had the last of Sah's tension bleeding away. "I'll focus more on my control when I train from now on. I won't let this happen again." His voice was firm, the statement a promise in itself. He would never forgive himself if something like this were to reoccur. The Abandoned hardly could forgive himself this time.
Sah felt the tension in his friend immediately. He loosened his hold so that she could pull away at any moment if she wished. Seren's stuttering however made the issue abundantly clear. "Oh." The Abandoned let out another small laugh. "Sorry." Unable to stop a chuckle from escaping, Sah tried to reassure her. "It's ok. You don't need to explain anything. We're good, right? That's all that needs to be." Another small laugh rumbled out of him. "Don't strain yourself."
