Still, he'd learned politeness reigned over just about everything thanks to his parents, and so he returns Teo's shake with a poor excuse for one of his own. Gripping the other boy's palm with his fingers and shaking weakly, Ever has to swallow down the need to say that he knew who Mateo was already.
