Ronin has just about managed to look very impressed at the sight of the peryton before both Felix and Remi are on the waders, and he halts in his steps towards them before figuring that they absolutely can handle this. With the birds undoubtedly in hand, he has no issue in joining the Priest with sanding down the planks, and between the two of them they'll make very good progress indeed.
As for the Whispershore Waders? Some of them are smart enough to fuck the fuck off at the sound of Remi's warning. But a lot of them aren't. And so it's an easy and glorious sort of carnage that occurs between the two shifted men, and in short order (and a lot of feathers - a lot of feathers) there is ample meat for BBQ Bird or whatever else they'd like to make.
As an added bonus, it's unlikely that anything within the immediate vicinity will bother them for the next few years hours.
"Dinner as well? Aren't we lucky?" Ronin grins. "We're almost done here - just the last of this to do!"
