He trills and rumbles in concern, nosing at her hand, huffing out warm breaths against her skin. Maeve doesn't move. She doesn't even flinch. His words reach her and she blinks, but other than that, she doesn't react besides to part her lips to speak.

She says softly, her voice distant to her own ears, a hand finally lifting to lay on top of Aidon's head after he nudges her again. The dragon lets out a sound that might be a whimper, looking between Maeve and Locke, orange eyes seeming to implore the Attuned to do something. Not understanding why he's simply sitting there.
