It's lucky that they emerge into a small clearing when they do, else the Huntsman would be at risk of tangling himself up what with the antlers that suddenly crown his head.
More than that, though, the scales that suddenly armour his neck and shoulders absolutely beg for a fight, and he carefully directs his gaze at the ground. "I didn't until you said it," he murmurs, clearing his throat. "I will be sure to ask Seren about it when I see her next."
