Getting to Frey's Breath had been the hard part. Locke, Melita, and Maeve had to navigate through the Climb which was bad enough on its own, but adding in finding their way through the cave systems to actually reach the hot springs in question and it was a bitch of a time. They manage it though. The trek back will be worse, made more difficult with the added task of lugging the water that they've collected, but first they have to actually collect it. "Alright, I would say we need about two buckets each. It should be easy enough. Be careful of the temperature though."
The springs were already steaming, but Maeve knew from warning that they could become scalding in moments, burning their flesh to the bone. With great care, she edges towards the shore of one of the many pools with her first bucket, dipping it into the water to begin filling it.
