Of course with that necessarily comes the ferocious beast for him to tame, and it's because of this that Remi shoots him a flat stare before his expression is eaten up by fur and a feline smirk. Subtle. He chuckles for all to hear.
Lifting into the air on large wings that quickly elevate him from the sands, he bobs his head in agreement with Sunjata. The higher the better. I have never seen any of them rise more than ten feet or so. Shifted and without a breath-weapon like Sunjata, it is up to the other two men to deal with the landshark (unless red pandas had some ranged ability he didn't know about).
Remi leaves the landshark to Ronin and Sunjata to deal with and flies out of its range (hopefully).
