Holding the vial Mateo has given up to the artificial lights from the Skyport, he peers at the snowflakes within as if there might be something novel to see. Or perhaps, as with most things, Ever is prone to overly observing.
"Thanks snow-parents." The boy agrees politely, before swiveling his gaze to Mateo, and then out to the darkened skies. "Yes please. I've been trying to learn more about aerodynamics. You see—" Ruffling quickly in his bag, Ever pulls out his notebook and opens to a drawing of a skyship with coloured lines running over it to indicate wind and wind resistance. "I wish I could see things like this." He muses to himself. "Maybe one day I'll have glasses like my dad."
With his pencils in one hand and notebook in the other, Ever does his best to carry on conversation with Mateo about flowers, and bugs, and girls while try to document the incoming and outgoing Skyships.
