He probably should’ve questioned the letter finding its way to his makeshift doorstep – but Deimos had seen a multitude of things, of all varieties of the weird, bizarre, complex, and treacherous. This seemed to only flicker into the potentially amusing category, which, to the world’s credit, a majority of them needed. So, after checking in with Noah and Cordelia to see if they received the same note, he attempted to adhere to the instructions.
At the very least it wasn’t far from where they were staying – no need to fly, to enlist his companions. He walked towards the slight crowd that had begun to appear, gesturing nearby to those he knew with a firm nod, and curious inklings of whatever they’d brought.
For his efforts, and the sled’s, the snow had been easy enough, and between the three of them they could easily cast and drag it along (assisting in ensuring the load stayed put with his water and air magic). Pumpkin seeds lined his pocket, figuring those would be good to roast, and the enormously fat seal plushie, created on the way over because he thought it’s moody face with funny, was tucked under his arm. With all of this in place, he waited amongst the rest.
