People don’t really write Harper letters, but he’s sure glad they did this time. Whatever the reason for the gathering of people, all curiosity flees from his mind the moment Harper sees so many loved ones gathered about in the snow. Thumping around with his filled satchel, Harper gleefully bounds towards those he hasn’t seen in some time - a mischievous tug of ginger locks for Melita, a loud smacking kiss on Edmund’s cheek (and another for his mother Maeve, though with far more dramatics), and a cheeky bump of shoulders as he passes Ray - and then he sets up shop in his own little corner to watch whatever is about to go down.

Harper brings a half-melted bag of snow, a variety of fruits that definitely don’t deserve to be roasted, and a noisy kazoo.
