Ever's heart stops, thunders, and then promptly slips all the way down to his feet. Blinking frantically as his gaze grows slack, his mind conjures up a close-view of their floor and the leg of the coffee table viewed upside down. Biting at his lower lip he closes his eyes and then immediately opens them, not wanting to be reminded of the images he was suddenly able to recall. '.....'
