It might be a surprise to most some especially Remi, but Ronin actually pays attention to the woods and the places within it, as well as the things that should be there and the things that should not. And so it is that he has realised, once the light fades and the forest is lit only by luxere antlers and will-o-wisps, that the absence of a herald in Ludo's Woods will allow the Cat Siths to roam free.

"But I am the Huntsman you know, so I thought the least we could do is spook off a few soul cats who try to come sniffing about."
