Ronin isn't far behind Remi, the Huntsman checking the Peepholes every few paces to make sure that the giant snake wasn't just the starter, that the amulet he held wasn't little more than a trinket designed to hide the real thing lurking in the dark. But when nothing jumps out to eat their faces, he forces himself to relax and to take in the arguably bigger problem, that being his injured and frustrated husband.
