Questions that brimmed regarding the regional quest quickly fall away at Jack's answer. Simple and vague as it is, it reveals one thing - probably the only thing that matters: "So Maeve has continued progress and done well enough on her own," her hand abandons Seven's cloud-like fur to grab the glass, "even with the baby..." it's halfway a question.
A deeper and quieter part of herself wonders if the Nightshade is okay. They had ruled side-by-side, however briefly, and even though it had its kinks to be smoothed over... Aurelia's loyalty is as stubborn as she. It's where she's gone wrong time and time again.
