She watches as chaos ensues, as the feathers that shoot out of Wessex’s wing slice deep and sharp, like a knife through butter and she definitely pauses in her holy shit moment of surprise to readjust her legs higher than where those dangerous feathers sit, hoping not to slice herself up.
She keeps her armor upgrade active, staring at the creature, feeling relatively useless because she doesn’t want to blow what she’s gotten from Wessex so early, so instead she lifts that crossbow again, waits until Wessex banks just right, and tries to aim the arrow at the creature’s eye (or maybe down its throat).
Kiada readjusts her legs a little >_> and she also readies the crossbow again to shoot another arrow but this time she aims for the eye or mouth to try and shoot it somewhere less armored!
