He works his jaw, holding onto Amadeus close to his chest, cooing his little Korofi words of encouragement to get the two of them to calm down.
But Romeo is difficult in how he twists and turns, fists clenched, trying to roll over onto his belly to get quite the intensely muffled scream. “They’re certainly beasts.” He rumbles to Aurelia’s complaint, a hum of a laugh leaving him as she approaches the two dark haired children. “You can hold Romeo if you want.” He offers her quietly, looking from the crib where the small boy continues to try and fight while Amadeus relaxes in his arms, hearing the gentle pulse of his heartbeat.
“We rescued them from an attack nearby. Their mother didn’t make it and we brought them to an orphanage in the Grounds… But… Nate and I couldn’t just leave them there.” He admits a touch softer, showing a bit of that good natured heart within him as his gaze lifts to Aurelia while he readjusts one of his sons in his arms, pressing a stubbled cheek to the babe’s crown, bouncing him a fraction to try and get him to go back to sleep. "So that one is Romeo. And this one is Amadeus."
