Romeo. She nods quietly and goes to scoop the babe into her arms. Looking down into his tiny, round face makes her heart swell and her entire demeanor seems to soften. "Hello there. It's alright, Romeo," she coos as he whimpers into her shoulder. While one arm supports his weight her other hand rubs gentle circles on his back, and she instinctively leans to touch her chin to the side of his head, cradling him there.
She's quiet as Sunjata explains how these children came to be under his care, already answering questions that had floated to the surface of her mind.
"You two did the right thing," she murmurs, lifting her chin to look as he gently bounces Amadeus in his arms. Meanwhile Romeo seems to cheer up, beginning to babble and gnaw on his own fingers. She takes a moment to murmur some of his own gibberish back at him. Laughing softly, she says, "I forgot how cute they can be. Y'know, when they're not pooping and crying."
She huffs another laugh, looking back up at Sunjata. "So, you're becoming a real family man now, huh? It suits you..." she offers a small smile, but it fades a bit quickly. "...do you have plans? For when.. everything happens." The war, she wants to say, but she doesn't outright. "Has Safrin asked anything of you? Or offered you protection?"
