The first jolt surprises Nate almost as much as it enrages him, a sharp “Hey!” leaving him as he steps towards Azrael. The second jolt just enrages him, the young Demi-god vanishing.
There’s nothing he can do to get them back, Isla already calling out into the misty void. Even angry as he is, Nate thinks better of adding more to the echoing around them, concern about the rumbling swimming in the back of his mind.
What he can do is snatch at the reptilian purple fuck, holographic arms appearing and trying to take a firm grip of it. If he can pin its wings and its head, he can keep it from escaping, or chirping, or breathing more of that fucked up lightning.
Nate summons his extra arms and tries to grab the purple dragon, specifically focusing on pinning its wings and ‘muzzling’ it’s snout
