They heal and they breathe a sigh of relief with it (something that’s more learned than it is instinctual, from spending time with their father), and as they reassess their thoughts and what to do next, they hear Isla’s call. Their head shoots up immediately and their body begins to move while their mind catches up and soon enough, they’re in a sprint where they’re aiming to try and get to where they’d heard Isla, assuming Nate is nearby.
“Isla?! Nate?!” They yell out – perhaps the loudest they ever had, in an attempt that if perhaps they can’t find them that they might be able to be found. All the while, panic starts to settle in their gut and all they can do is keep moving, hoping that they manage to get in the vicinity to see their group.
Azrael hears Isla’s call and starts running toward it, yelling out to Nate and Isla hoping that one of them can hear them!
