The roaring grows louder and Azrael assumes they’re heading in the correct direction – though there isn’t anything around that helps them figure out whether that’s a good thing or not. They don’t know whether or not Nate is safe or even around the roaring, but that’s a problem for later. After all, Isla seems to have the same idea and if she’s prepared for it, Azrael thinks that they can certainly be prepared as well.
Still, they mentally seem to hover over their healing, just in case they need to spring it immediately. It’s far easier that way. And with them walking behind Isla and beside the Prince as she takes the charge, they’re comfortable in the face of walking toward the sound that likely seems to have more dragons.
