They flinch when the lightning erupts, the sound an incredibly loud snap and it causes their sensors to spark in surprise at how their pupils narrow sharply, a pulsing that Azrael realizes they should close their eyes. And so they do, just in case there’s more lightning.
There isn’t, though, and instead there’s suddenly something picking them up and they yelp their surprise, arms clinging to the scaled clawed hands that grab them and lift them up, wind tearing through their curls as they clutch closer, realizing with the care that they’d been grabbed that it is Nate. So they activate their healing again, hoping to heal Nate if they can, trying to tug the claw toward the direction they think they’d come from. “We have to find Isla!”
Azrael clings to Nate and activates their healing and tries to tug the claw to direct Nate back the way they think they’d come from to find Isla!
