They can only assume the healing works as they cling to Nate, taking the offered help to slide up his back and settle between Nate’s spines on this shift, grabbing onto the ones in front of them for added security and making sure their legs are snugly set so they don’t go flying off. They point in the direction for Nate to go, unsure if it’s the correct way, but eventually they do end up spotting the slime trail.
If nothing else, it’s something and maybe if they follow it they can find Isla on the way there. “Over there!” They chime, hopefully loud enough for Nate to hear, urging the dragon forward to the slime trail to hopefully follow it back toward the portal they’d arrived through.
