It might have been easier for them as a whole for him to shift into his hound form, snagging at tracks, hints, suggestions, and following after the potential game trail. “I can see if I pick up the scent,” was a low rumble to Cordelia and Noah. Besides, he’d still be able to communicate with them, and there’d be no loss.
